MASH Trial
FOMAT is currently enrolling participants for a MASH clinical trial.
Metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), previously known as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), is a silent condition that often remains symptomless until it reaches advanced stages. This disease involves the accumulation of excess fat in the liver, which over time leads to inflammation and liver damage. In its early stages, MASH may go unnoticed, but as it progresses, it can develop into cirrhosis, significantly impairing liver function and increasing the risk of severe complications. Early detection and intervention are crucial to halting the progression of MASH and safeguarding liver health.
